Indexing Plugins are additional indexing processors that a document can be made to go through during the indexing process. Users who know how to code can create their own plugins using the plugin API. Plugins can be used to extract new "micro-documents" from a given document, do clustering, or can be used to control the indexing or non-indexing of web pages based on their content.
